How does the free trial work?

You can try Overflow for free for 14 days. You can start your trial by signing up. There is no need to enter any billing or payment information to start a free trial. During the 14-day free trial, you will be able to use the Overflow desktop app and Overflow cloud sharing with no limitations. Team members can also be invited to collaborate at no cost.

What happens when my trial ends?

When your trial ends, you will not be able to use the Overflow desktop app and Overflow cloud sharing. Your Shares will automatically become inaccessible. However, your data will continue to be hosted for 60 days, during which you have the opportunity to activate your subscription and continue working as you did during your trial period. If within 60 days you do not activate your subscription, your account and all data will be deleted.

When do I get billed?

You can activate your subscription any day during your free trial period, or up to 60 days after your trial ends. You will get billed when you activate your subscription for one month or one year (depending on whether you choose a monthly or annual subscription), and then you will be automatically billed every month or year respectively until you cancel your subscription. If a payment fails you will have 30 days to update your payment details before your subscription is automatically canceled.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription anytime. Your subscription will continue to be active until the end of your current term (month or year) but it will not auto-renew. Unless you delete your account manually, your account and all data will be deleted 60 days from the day your subscription becomes inactive.

How can I pay for Overflow?

You can pay for your subscription using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) or Paypal. Bank transfer payments are available only for custom invoices or purchase orders.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Yes, we do. We accept Purchase Orders from resellers or companies that wish to be billed offline and pay via bank transfer, credit card or Paypal. Purchase orders and custom invoicing is only available for annual subscriptions.

Do I need to pay VAT?

Pricing is VAT exclusive. A purchase might be subject to VAT, depending on the country in which your business is registered. If a business is a VAT registered company and provides a valid VAT number, then VAT will be exempted. However, VAT will be added for EU customers who have not provided a valid VAT EU number and for all customers registered in Cyprus (PROTOIO EUROPE). If you are unsure, if VAT liability applies to you, please contact an accountant or legal advisor.

Where will I be billed from?

All US-based and international customers, excluding companies and individuals from the EU, will be billed in USD (United States Dollars) by PROTOIO Inc., the company who owns and operates the Overflow app and service. All companies and individuals from the European Union will be billed in EUR (Euro) by PROTOIO EUROPE, the sole distributor for Overflow in the EU.

Will Overflow work on my computer?

The Overflow desktop app works only on macOS and Windows-compatible machines. Overflow cloud sharing is accessible by all major web browsers on desktop computers and mobile devices.

On how many computers can I use my Overflow subscription?

Each Overflow seat allows you to install the Overflow app and activate it (by signing in your Overflow account) on as many computers as you want but you can only use it on one computer at a time.

Where will my Overflow cloud data be stored?

Our servers are located in the United States and all data is safely stored in AWS Amazon Cloud. Please visit our privacy policy or community article to learn more about data safety.
